Sharn Does Gucci

        This season Gucci is all about tropical vibrant colours, high gloss satin and sleek silhouette's. I'm loving the  gold tassels belt and the traffic light red lips  and nails that Gucci has sported on there runway.

I can’t help but obsess over Gucci's 70s Glam look, which is taking over the fashion world! I mean, it’s  everywhere! From front cover magazines to celeb's making appearances in it and the high street re-creating the look at an affordable value!

Sham wears high Street Gucci inspired ensemble from River Island

...and shoes!!!

 

 As much as I love the Gucci SS11 collection, I really cannot justify breaking my bank account for it, I felt this was the time to get grips on my needle and thread and create my own Gucci dress for less with ensembles already in my wardrobe...well my sister Sham's old Rare dress! Hee Hee!

 I did actually use a sewing machine after taking the top half off the dress. 

This black cut out top is from Asos, which I have made some alterations to and now I have attach the top to the skirt making this a dress.
